VEGETABLE PAELLA

 Ingredients
2 cups long grain rice
2 pcs pandan leaves
½ kilo chicken breast, boiled and chopped
1 head garlic, minced
1 pc large onion, chopped
4 pcs red ripe tomatoes
to taste ground pepper
1 pc Knorr Shrimp Cubes
1 sachet Knorr Meaty Seasoning Mix
¼ kilo shrimps, shelled
½ cup button mushrooms, sliced
½ cup garbanzos
2 pcs red and green bell pepper, sliced
1 bundle spring onions, chopped
2 pcs bay leaves

For the side dish:
4 pcs saging na saba, sliced and fried
1 pc medium carrot, cut into cubes
2 cups corn kernel
2 tbsp butter
¼ cup shrimps, shelled and chopped
½ cup button mushrooms, sliced
 



Instructions
Start by cooking the long grain rice with the pandan leaf on top. Next, sauté chicken in garlic, onions and tomatoes. Add the ground pepper, Knorr Shrimp Cubes and Knorr Meaty Seasoning Mix. Then add in shrimps, mushrooms and rice. Add the garbanzos, red and green bell pepper, spring onions and bay leaves and mix the ingredients well.

For the side dish, sauté carrots and corn in butter then add shrimps, mushrooms and fried saging na saba. Now you’re ready to serve this with your one-of-a-kind paella that is sure to Impress your in-laws!

Cooking Diva Tip:
To make this dish a more authentic paella, add a bit of paprika. These small details can actually give an extra Spanish flavor in your dish!
